Berwaldhallen (Swedish Radio's Concert Hall in Stockholm): Baltic Sea Festival Concert - "Songs of Sunset and Dawn": Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, with the Swedish Radio Choir and four guest soloists; RAMINTA ŠERKŠNYTĖ: Songs of Sunset and Dawn, and ESA-PEKKA SALONEN's Piano Concerto. 400 SEK ($48) per ticket;

Take 2:22 pm train to Hudiksvall, arrive 4:58 pm; NOTE: Ticket costs of train travel, including Stockholm to Hudiksvall, Hudiksvall to Borlänge, and Borlänge back to Stockholm, all together total 600 SEK ($72.) per person;
Dinner at Quality Hotell Statt. (not included in hotel price);

Saturday, September 1:
13th Annual JUSSIFEST: a two-day festival in the charming coastal village of Strömsbruk, celebrating the art of Jussi Björling and reminiscent of the concerts Jussi sang in Strömsbruk and all over Sweden. Registration fee of 700 SEK ($84) per person includes concert, buffet dinner and Sunday morning session.
Breakfast 7:30 to 10:30 (included in room rate);
Free morning, or tour of County Museum;
App 11 am, lunch at the hotel (not included);
Bus departs for Strömsbruk after lunch. (NOTE: Charter bus fares for the round trips from Hudiksvall to Strömsbruk on Saturday and Sunday are not yet available, but they will be minimal, and will be payable as we board the bus);
Björling Tour includes birthplace of David Björling, the Björling Singing Pavilion, and Missionary Church (where Jussi sang around 1915);
3 pm: Pre-concert brass band entertainment, Strömsbruk Concert Hall;
4 pm: Concert, featuring Malin Hartelius, soprano, Yinjia Gong, tenor, and Tyler Duncan, baritone;
6 pm: Buffet Dinner, followed by Jussi Discussion and Jussi Request Session;
Bus returns to Quality Hotell Statt, where restaurant/bar will be open;
Sunday, September 2:
Breakfast, 7:30 - 10:30 am (included in room rate);
9:30 am: Bus departs for Strömsbruk Concert Hall;
10 am: Nils-Göran Olve: Panel Discussion with artists;
11 am : Stefan Johansson Presentation celebrating Birgit Nilsson's 100th birthday;
12 noon: Bus returns to Quality Hotell Statt for lunch (lunch not included);
3 pm: Train leaves for Gävle with connection to Borlänge, arriving 5:45 pm;
Overnight in Galaxen Hotel, Borlänge; Group Rates: Double Room, 2 people, 1540 SEK ($184.80); Single Room 1340 SEK ($160.80) Price includes breakfast;
Monday, September 3:
Spend the day at the Jussi Björling Museum, and Stora Tuna gravesite; Museum entry fee: 25 SEK ($3.) per person, payable at the Museum, which plans special exhibit items for us; 5 pm: Dinner in Borlänge. (not included);

OPTION I:
Take Monday evening train to Arlanda Airport, depart 7:47 pm, arrive Arlanda 9:52 pm; Overnight stay at one of the airport hotels (no group rates); Depart Tues Sept 4.
OPTION II:
OR take Monday evening train back to Stockholm, depart 7:47 pm; arrive Stockholm 10:15 pm; Check back in to Hotel Terminus, for Monday and Tuesday nights; Group Rates: Double Room, 2 people 1400 SEK ($168) per night; Single Room 1190 SEK ($143.) per night; price includes breakfast;
Tuesday, Sept 4:
A day in Stockholm, with optional activities including tour of Royal Opera House, boat excursion cruise, farewell dinner. Another arts-related activity will be added as Stockholm schedules become available. Depart Wednesday, Sept 5.
