How to Join the Webinar
Click the Zoom link you were sent via email the week before by our team.
Select “Join from your browser” (which can be found below Join Meeting and Download Zoom).
Enter your name when prompted.
You’ll enter the Waiting Room until the webinar begins.
What are Breakout Rooms?
Breakout rooms are smaller private rooms within the Zoom Webinar — like side tables at a large event. After the main presentation, attendees will be placed into small groups to chat with our panelists before returning to the main webinar.
At the end of the presentation, you’ll see a pop-up that says “The host is inviting you to join a breakout room.”
Just click Join — that’s all you need to do!
You’ll automatically move into a small group where you can talk with others using the same buttons: Mute/Unmute, Start Video, Chat, and Leave Room.
If you need help, click “Ask for Help.” That tells the host you’d like them to come into your room to assist.
When time is up, we’ll bring everyone back. You’ll see a countdown message — something like, “This room will close in 60 seconds.” After that, Zoom will take you back to the main room automatically.
Quick Tips
You’ll only be with a few other people — it’s meant to be relaxed and easy to talk.
The panelists will visit each room for about 10–15 minutes to engage with all of you personally.
If anything goes wrong or you get disconnected, just rejoin the webinar the same way you did before; we can put you right back in your group.
Stay unmuted when it’s your turn to talk — sometimes Zoom mutes automatically when switching rooms.
If you’re on a phone or tablet, look for a small “Join Breakout Room” button on your screen — it might be at the bottom or under “More.”
